In 2021, we were commissioned to design the landscape and art for a residential development consisting of 48 units, catering specifically to creative individuals.

Our primary focus was to create a sublime atmosphere that would provoke and inspire the users.

The concept of the "Sublime" originates from the Romantic era, describing a heightened sense of beauty that profoundly affects those who experience it. It is a design approach that deeply impacts people's emotions.

To create a sublime atmosphere, we went beyond modernity. We aimed to make an impact on the users through a sense of monumentality and overscale.

The Main Gate and Secret Garden were designed to be sculptural spaces that transport people to another world. The Main Gate, resembling a Welcome Cathedral, leads people from the bustling city to a special sanctuary. It features a mix of straight and curved lines, relating to the facades of the houses and the club house within the development.

The Club House and Park feature a softscape design. As one moves from the organized to the exotic plantings increase gradually. It represents the transition from the busy city life to a more relaxed and tranquil environment.

The swimming pool is designed with a simple shape and painted in ultramarine color. It stands out against the red elements of the garden, including the Pavilion and Water Feature. This contrast between the monumental architecture and the rippling water represents the juxtaposition of man-made and natural elements.

Overall, the design aims to create a sublime and inspiring environment for the residents, with elements of monumentality, contrast, and tranquility woven into the landscape and art installations.
